September 14, 2009 - Stephen Wynkoop and Chris Shaw have partnered up to teach an in person event over the course of three days. The class is called DBA School and is offered in Tucson Az. 12 Students + 2 SQL Server MVP instructors made for a great few days in exploring SQL Server.

June 15, 2009 - Workshops can be a very productive learning tool for someone new to the industry. Chris Shaw is pleased to announce that he will begin teaching a workshop on SQL Server 911 Backup and Restore. The vital skills should be required for every DBA.

May 15, 2009 - After a long relationship between SQL on Call and SSWUG.org, Chris Shaw has been named SSWUG.ORG site manager. His duties include working with the SSWUG SQL Server community to make sure the site is providing the information that is relevant and current. Both SQL on Call and SSWUG.org look forward to the future of the relationship.

January 1, 2009 - The Colorado Springs SQL Server User group had elected Chris Shaw to the board of directors. Chris is one of the founding members of the SQL Server User Group in Colorado Springs that started back in 2002.

April 24, 2008 - SQL on Call is proud to be involved with the Ultimate Virtual Conference. These events bring hundreds of SQL Server professionals together to discuss SQL Server and other technologies. SQL on Call is not only a vendor for the conference but play a major role in the planning and execution of the event.

Feb 19-21, 2008 - SQL on Call is excited to announce that we had three staff members involved at the SSWUG.org Virtual SQL Server Conference. Two SQL on Call team members were speakers on topics that encompassed managing and running your SQL Servers. The Virtual SQL Server Conference was an excellent opportunity for us to work with the SQL Server Community in an exciting new venue - the Virtual Conference. January 1, 2008 - New SQL on Call site launched, with new support for an upcoming ticket system and much more.

December 24, 2007 - SQL on Call has been acquired by Bits on the Wire. Bits on the Wire will be continuing to work closely with the existing SQL on Call teams and customers and is looking to provide enhanced support and technology services for the SQL on Call products and Services.

December 1, 2007 - Chris Shaw has been selected as one of the premier speakers in the SQL Server Virtual Conference from SSWUG.ORG and is serving as co-chair for the event. The first-ever event teaches about SQL Server fundamentals and will be held virtually, with all sessions and interactions taking place online. November, 2007 - Chris Shaw will be co-chairing the SSWUG.ORG track at SQL Connections in Las Vegas. Chris will be helping to coordinate the speakers and scheduling for the community track at the conference.
